Share my music:
Over the past few years the Internet has turned the music business around. While major labels have tried to shut down music sharing and discourage this behavior I’ve decided to come to terms with it. I’m OK with people that like my music enough to want to share it with their friends. Actually I find this quite flattering. When you send a friend an Mp3 of my music you are introducing me to someone new encouraging this person to check out MRDC. I view this as a good thing. So this is why I decided all of the Mp3's you purchase and download off my site come with a license to share them guilt free with your friends. I know this sounds completely nuts and the opposite of what everyone else is doing but hear me out. When you give someone one of my Mp3's you are helping me promote my music. I believe most people have good intentions and want artists like me to keep making music. So I'm hoping that along with this exchange you'll give them the site address and tell them about what I'm doing. Just a little further down the page is my Tunecore Widget. Simply move your mouse over it and you'll see a list of options come up. Move your mouse over the small icons and see "Share This" to copy the html embed code for the Widget. There are all kinds of options that assist you where you'd like to share it on your social sites like Twitter, Facebook, Myspace etc. Or grab the code and past it yourself. This gives your peers the opportunity to hear the new album in it's entirety, join my mailing list, share it with their peers and ultimately purchase the album from iTunes. Just one example of music sharing that actually can help artists like me.
